Rev. Matt Henson
EVANGELIST
We are pleased to welcome Brother Matt as our Evangelist at this year’s Atlantic Christian Ashram. An energetic, dynamic, vision-casting adventurer for Jesus is one of the best ways to describe Rev. Matt Henson. Matt brings a fresh perspective and energy to the church and her ministry. He specializes in Evangelistic Preaching, Mission Experiences, Healing/Reconciliation Ministry, and Youth/Young Adult Ministry, using his experience and passion to proclaim the message of the Kingdom of God to all people.
Matt serves as the Executive Director of the United Christian Ashrams International Ministry and as Lead Evangelist and Executive Director for Living the Adventure Ministries, an evangelistic and mission ministry. Matt travels around the nation and around the world as part of these ministries. Matt has spoken to groups and been in mission in 24 states, the District of Columbia, Canada, Puerto Rico, Liberia, Mexico, Zimbabwe, Haiti, Malawi, Uruguay, Argentina, and India.
Matt and his wife, Nancy, have four sons (Elijah, Micah, Judah, and Isaiah) and one daughter, Sarafina. We look forward to his ministry as the Evangelist at this year’s Ashram

Rev. Mark Sypher
BIBLE STUDY LEADER
We are pleased to welcome Brother Mark as our Bible Study Leader at this year’s Atlantic Christian Ashram. Mark is originally from Fredericton, NB and has served as pastor in four Atlantic Canadian local churches. He received degrees from both UNB (Mathematics) and STU (Education) before sensing a strong call to ministry. Mark began as youth & young adult pastor, and during that period he directed three summer teams to oversee ACA’s Intermediate Youth program. In 2006, Mark and his wife Mary-Jane moved their family to the Annapolis Valley where he completed his M.Div. studies and graduated from ADC (2010) while concurrently working full time as an associate pastor. In 2015, Mark became lead elder of Christ Community Church (Wolfville) where he continues to serve today. Mark & Mary-Jane have four wonderful adult children and a growing list of beautiful grandchildren. Mark also enjoys sports, theatre, and games of all kinds, and is looking forward to making new and lasting friendships at Ashram 2025!

Our Worship Leader
We are pleased to welcome Matt Bustin back as this year’s worship leader. No stranger to the Ashram, Matt Bustin is a versatile musician from Halifax, Nova Scotia, known for his soulful voice and exceptional guitar skills. As the Music Director at Port City Church, he leads and mentors the worship team, creating inspiring worship experiences.
With extensive experience as a worship leader at local churches, conferences, and events, Matt blends contemporary and traditional styles seamlessly. He has earned a reputation for his heartfelt performances and engaging stage presence. Whether solo or with a team, Matt captivates audiences with his passion and dedication to worship in music.
